The Five-Minute Linguist2019 Contest  2018 Contest  2017 Contest

First time submitting an abstract for the LSA Annual Meeting?  Not sure how to format your abstract or how to submit it?

This webinar offers guidance from LSA staff and Program Committee members on all aspects of preparing an abstract for a poster or a 20-minute paper for the LSA Annual Meeting.   David Robinson, the LSA's Director of Membership and Meetings, offers a brief presentation on the technical issues associated with submitting your abstract.  Next, a panel of Program Committee members answers your F.A.Q. about submitting an abstract.  Finally, panelists respond to questions from the audience.

This webinar will be of interest to anyone who is submitting an abstract for the LSA Annual Meeting for the first time; who is looking for additional guidance on submitting an abstract; or who has questions about the abstract submission, review, and notification process.

The webinar took place on Friday, June 7 from 1:00 - 2:30 PM U.S. Eastern Daylight Time.
