Interested in getting published, but not sure how to get started?  View for the LSA’s webinar on The Writing Process.  Panelists and award-winning authors Sharese King and Charles Yang (see bios below) share their experience of the writing process and take your questions.  The webinar took place on Friday, November 1 from 2:00 - 3:30 PM U.S. Eastern Time.
This webinar focuses on the skills necessary to make the switch to tech, the linguistics subfields that are in demand currently and the sometimes surprising ways in which linguists use their training in related tech fields. Speakers include both trained linguists and computer scientists who work with linguists, lending a practical lens from which to view the utility of linguistics in the world of tech.
One  of the LSA's webinars on professional development topics, Linguistics in the News: How to Own It! took place on Thursday, August 22 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM U.S. Eastern Time. See below for a recording of the webinar and copies of the panelists' handouts.
