Lauren B. Collister is the Director of the Office of Scholarly Communication and Publishing at the University Library System, University of Pittsburgh. She received her PhD in Sociolinguistics in 2013 from the University of Pittsburgh where she studied language, identity, and online communication. Since then, she has devoted her work to scholarly communication, including the meta-scholarly practices of publishing, sharing, and disseminating research, as well as advocacy for Open Access and Open Education. She is the Co-Chair of the Committee on Scholarly Communication in Linguistics and an active member of the Linguistics Data Interest Group for the Research Data Alliance.  



Andrea Berez-Kroeker is an Associate Professor in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, where she also serves as the director of the Kaipuleohone archive of endangered languages. She was the president of the Digital Endangered Languages and Music Archiving Network from 2014-2016 and has served as the co-chair of the LSA's Committee on Endangered Languages and Their Preservation (CELP).  She is currently a member of the LSA's Committee on Scholarly Communication (CoSCIL) and is a co-chair of the Linguistics Data Interest Group in the Research Data Alliance.
