Everyone wants their work to be read, cited, and shared. With the proliferation of paper sharing sites and resources, how do you know where to start and which ones are the best? And what do you need to know about copyright to avoid those take-down notices? Join Lauren B. Collister (University of Pittsburgh) and Andrea Berez-Kroeker (University of Hawai'i) for an introduction and best practices for sharing your articles, book chapters, and more, and for navigating resources like institutional repositories, preprint servers, ResearchGate and Academia.edu. Whether you're just beginning to publish or are a seasoned author, this webinar will have something for you.  There will be ample time for question and answer, so come prepared!

This webinar is sponsored by the LSA's Committee on Scholarly Communication in Linguistics (CoSCiL).

The webinar will take place on Friday, May 18, from 3:00 - 4:30 PM US EDT.  For more information, and to register, click here. Priority will be given to LSA members.

ASL interpretation will be provided for LSA webinars if at least two week’s advance notice is provided. This notice is required in order to secure the services of qualified interpreters. If less advance notice is provided, the LSA will attempt to secure interpreters but cannot guarantee availability.
