The LSA is pleased to sponsor the North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad (NACLO), an annual event that brings together high school students to compete in solving problems in language analysis drawn from languages around the world. This year, over 1500 students from across the U.S. and Canada competed at more than 200 university and high school sites.

The top eight students from the Invitational Round have qualified and will compete in the International Linguistics Olympiad in Dublin, Ireland on July 31 – August 4, 2017. These students are:
