This weekend, leading linguists and LSA representatives are taking part in the Annual Meeting for the AAAS (American Association for the Advancement of Science), the world's largest scientific society, being held in San Jose, CA.

LSA members from Arizona, Ohio State, and other institutions will be participating in Family Science Days, a free two-day science showcase featuring hands-on demos, shows, talks by scientists, and other family-appropriate activities. If you'll be nearby, stop by the LSA booth February 14-15!

The LSA will also be attending the Business Meeting for AAAS' Section on Linguistics and Language Science, and linguists will be speaking and presenting throughout the conference. A live video stream of selected AAAS talks is available.
