The LSA is planning to hold a collaborative Wikipedia editing session at the 2015 Annual Meeting in Portland, Oregon, next January.

The aim of the edit-a-thon, to be led by Gretchen McCulloch, is to make linguistic knowledge more universally accessible by bringing expert linguists together to improve the quality of linguistics articles on Wikipedia, which receives over 700,000,000 page views each day. Training and assistance in editing Wikipedia will be available to all who are interested in participating.
