Reed College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position in Linguistics, with a primary focus in syntax and a secondary focus in morphology, typology, or semantics, for the 2023-24 academic year, to commence in August 2023.

Housed within the School of Arts & Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania, MindCORE is an interdisciplinary effort to understand human intelligence and behavior. Designed for individuals who have recently obtained a PhD degree in psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, philosophy, computer science or other cognitive science discipline, the MindCORE Fellowship is a springboard for early researchers as they establish their own research program. Fellows are expected to pursue collaborative relationships with faculty working across disciplines at Penn.

The Department of Linguistics at the University of New Mexico invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor in Linguistics, specializing in typology and cognitive linguistics, to begin in August 2023. This is a full-time, tenure-track position. Applicants must have a PhD in Linguistics or a related field by date of appointment.
