The Linguistic Academic Depository (LAD) is a site for linguists to share teaching materials. Members of the LSA can deposit or download syllabi, exercises, handouts, and other pedagogical documents.

  • To contribute materials to the LAD, click on Add Materials. LAD can accept .txt, .doc, .docx and .PDF files.
  • To look through what the LAD has to offer, click on Browse Materials below and then scroll to the bottom for a complete list.
  • To search for a specific kind of teaching document, click on Browse Materials, complete the appropriate fields, and then click on "Apply" near the bottom.
  • Hold Ctrl/Command to make multiple selections within a single field, or to deselect.

UPDATE: In response to COVID-19, the LSA will temporarily allow open access for materials for both members and non-members. Individuals who wish to have their items removed from the LAD may contact the LSA to do so.
