The Linguistics Program at the University of South Carolina (USC) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 16, 2024. Candidates must have a demonstrated promise of excellence in teaching and research and have a Ph.D. in Linguistics or a closely related field. The program particularly encourages applicants with a primary or secondary specialization in computational linguistics, English historical linguistics, linguistic anthropology, psycholinguistics, or sociolinguistics. Outstanding applicants in other subfields will also be considered.
