The Department of Linguistics & Philosophy at MIT invites applications for a tenure-track position in linguistics at the Assistant Professor level, starting July 1, 2018. The successful candidate will have a PhD or equivalent in Linguistics or a related field, and will be expected to participate in the research, teaching and advising activities of our department. Apply online at: https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/10337. Application deadline: 12/15/2017.

Consideration of applications will begin on December 15, 2017. To ensure full consideration, applications should be complete and letters of recommendation received by this date, but we will consider all applications submitted until the position is filled.

Women and members of under-represented minorities are especially encouraged to apply. MIT is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
