Welcome to the Organic Groups page for the Committee on Scholarly Communication in Linguistics (CoSCiL). This page is organized so that all members of the committee can share and store documents, post questions, and discuss topics pertaining to the Committee.

Instructions for posting to the group:

    1. Go to http://www.linguisticsociety.org/committee/committee-scholarly-communication-linguistics-coscil (bookmark this page when logged in to the website for future use).
    2. Scroll to the bottom and click on the "post" link under the "Content Create Links" heading in the right hand column of this page.
    3. Provide a title for the item you are posting, such as “Action Item: xyz” or “Discussion Item: abc” or “Information item: efg.”
    4. Type any introductory remarks in the text box labeled “Main body (edit summary)."
    5. If you wish to attach a document, scroll down and choose a file to attach. Then click “upload.”
    6. Review what you have drafted. If it looks OK, then scroll to the very bottom and click save.
    7. You should then see a new screen with your item posted to the URL in step 1. You should also see a message in your e-mail inbox that says something like “new post to group.”
