Linguists Awarded German, Norwegian Research Prizes

Linguists have recently won two major national research prizes in Germany and Norway.
Artemis Alexiadou (University of Stuttgart) has been awarded a Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize, the highest German research award.
Terje Lohndal (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) is the youngest-ever recipient of the Nils Klim Prize, an award given annual to a young (under 35) Nordic researcher in the academic fields of the arts and humanities, social sciences, law and theology.
