The cost of providing ASL interpretation services at the LSA Annual Meeting and biennial Linguistic Institute is considerable.  To help defray the cost of providing this critical service, the LSA has had a long-established charitable contribution fund for this purpose. In 2009, the Stokoe Fund was consolidated with other restricted contribution funds to form a new Financial Assistance and Student Support Fund.

We invite you to make a donation to this special fund today. Donations may be made directly online via credit card or by downloading a contribution form (PDF) and mailing (522 21st St. NW, Suite 120, Washington, DC 20006 USA), faxing (202-835-1717) or e-mailing it as a .pdf attachment ([email protected]) to the LSA.

The Linguistic Society is a non-profit organization exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The LSA Federal Identification Number is 74-6043371. As a non-profit organization, the LSA may qualify for corporate donation-matching programs. Prospective donors may review a copy of the LSA's most recent federal tax return (Form 990) here (PDF).
